I highlight mostly new books and new/emerging authors I’ve enjoyed for others to discover. On Goodreads, etc., my minimum rating is 4 stars; 5 stars for the very best. If I don’t connect with a book, I won’t recommend it – book likes are subjective. My taste is not your taste. Finally, I recommend rather than ‘critique.’ I leave the negative vibes out of the equation.
I read thrillers, noir genre fiction, mysteries, and some literary, mainstream and small press alike. If it’s good, I want to (try to) read it and spread the word.
